K-1 World Grand Prix Final PPV DSR XviD-OMiCRON

A slightly different release than you are used to is the World Grand Prix Final of K1. This is a TV rip of famous kickboxing event, which finished in Tokyo few days ago. Tough guys beating each other, that’s nothing for me, but this event has a serious popularity, so here it is for you…

In September, K-1 staged the last set of eliminators for the World Grand Prix Final at the famed martial arts hall in Tokyo. The card was one of the most fascinating lineups K-1 has produced and it resulted in some awesome displays of fighting, which bodes well for the Final on December 4 (even if it’s at Tokyo Dome). There have been criticisms that the fighting in K-1 doesn’t live up to its publicity and some of this criticism has been well-founded, but keep in mind that it’s a young sport that is still trying to make its mark and earn its badge of credibility.

The final matchup sees American Mighty Mo against Mighty Mouse, so to speak. The mouse in question is Thailand’s Kaoklai Kaennorsing, a former Muay Thai champion who put on an amazing display of jumps and kicks to dispose of Alexey Ignashov at the Budokan, despite the Belarussian’s 25-cm height advantage and 35-kg weight advantage. Mighty Mo has similar advantages on paper, but the Thai will not be impressed by statistics; he goes out to fight. Mo’s punching power may not tell if Kaoklai’s bobbing and weaving is as impressive as it was against Ignashov.

Happy Feet PROPER TS XViD-mVs

Fellow sceners from group mVs released a proper version of Happy Feet (more info) telesync. This lovely movie deserves some quality release, although it was some time since XanaX released their nuked one. And in this case, it was really hard NUKED: no IVTC, bad resolution, bad cropping, encoded in DivX 5 and with watermark. This one fixes all mentioned and adds little better quality as well…

Another 0day exploit for Windows Vista

Microsoft proved its unbeatable skill to produce not-too-much secure software: A new zero day vulnerability has been discovered that could potentially allow attackers to target computers running all versions of Microsoft Windows, including the long awaited security enhanced Vista. Microsoft has acknowledged that the vulnerability affects Vista on its Microsoft Security Response Center Blog. The vulnerability, discovered by a Russian hacker known only as NULL, was conveyed to Microsoft on December 16. The vulnerability can be exploited through the Windows MessageBox() function and can potentially cause a memory corruption in the kernel which causes system crash or hang, according to the Full Disclosure security mailing list.

The exploit, which has had a proof-of-concept posted on the Web, is not considered particularly dangerous by security vendors because attackers first would have to gain access to a target computer in order to escalate their privileges so that they can plant a malicious executable program. Microsoft through its Microsoft Security Response Center Blog admits that the vulnerability affects Vista in addition to other supported versions of Windows. It looks that waiting for Vista SP1 or SP2 may be a good idea before you install this new OS…

Night At The Museum 2006 CAM XViD-MrNiCeGuY

A very expected brand new comedy “Night At The Museum” is available in the first release. This query was searched almost 1000 times in last 24 hours at NewTorrents, so I’m pretty sure it has a good marketing and people want to see it. Story not too unsimilar from Jumanji is ideal for Christmas break, with great Ben Stiller in the main role. Anyway, it’s a good idea to wait for some better release, this first cam is too dark / pixelated / blurry to fully enjoy the movie…

Good-hearted dreamer Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), despite being perpetually down on his luck, thinks he’s destined for something big. But even he could never have imaged how “big,” when he accepts what appears to be a menial job as a graveyard-shift security guard at a museum of natural history. During Larry’s watch, extraordinary things begin to occur: Mayans, Roman Gladiators, and cowboys emerge from their diorama to wage epic battles; in his quest for fire, a Neanderthal burns down his own display; Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher) pillages his neighboring exhibits, and a T-Rex reminds everyone why he’s history’s fiercest predator. Amidst the chaos, the only person Larry can turn to for advice is a wax figure of President Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams), who helps our hero harness the bedlam, stop a nefarious plot, and save the museum.

The Marine SCREENER XViD-BMB

Wrestling star John Cena is starring in a movie, that has close to no plot at all. Jean Claude van Damme has better plots in his movies. Also, this guy is a wrestling star, not a movie star, so watching him act is going to make your eyes bleed. Then there’s too much goddamn explosions…

Picture a runaway semi truck barreling through a warehouse at the edge of a pier with not one, not two, but six rows of explosive gas tanks between it and the water, and only then will one begin to get into the mindset of the WWE throwback action flick The Marine. This kind of blatant homage rarely works, though somehow this sucker finds a way. While the editing has gotten choppier and the effects more expensive, the action on display here sincerely tries to tap into the same big dumb action fun mode that populated 1980s cinema — and that’s a good thing. If John Cena’s character was just a bit more over the top and utilized a few juicy one-liners instead of tough-guy frowns, then this could have been a grand-slam tribute to the cheese-ball entertainment of yore. As it stands, The Marine is still a wild ride filled with laughable characters, corny dialogue, and a sea of endless explosions.

Trackmania United – RELOADED

A little update on TM: United. RELOADED has now cracked the damn StarForce copy protection so now I’ll be getting the game too. It seems that all future SF releases by RELOADED, and other groups that use RELOADED’s SF Reverse Engineered tools, will now be cracked and ready to play without SF. Wish they’d done this a year or two earlier though, I’ve missed a lot of games because they had SF on them and I wasn’t willing to risk my PC for a game.
