Hip hop compilation Public Enemy just released a new album, Beats and Places, and you can already get it now. This band doesn’t fit into the mainstream branch including all these Eminems, 50 Cents and Snoop Doggs, but they are still well-known and respected (their first album appeared in 1987, so it may be better to call them “Legends”). Anyway, decent rip from RNS once again…

Public Enemy has again followed suit in bringing its music, words, imagery and meaning to the world. The highly influential Long Island New Yorkers have been together 20 years and delivered a barrage of classic albums awash with politically-charged lyrics. The group, which still features founding members Chuck D, Flavor Flav, and Professor Griff, has scores of imitators but is regarded by many as the definitive rap group. Beats and Places brings to the foreground some lesser-known Public Enemy tracks along with a DVD of music videos and documentaries.

Public Enemy, also known as PE, is a seminal hip hop group from Long Island, New York known for their politically charged lyrics, criticism of the media, and active interest in the concerns of the African American community. Their next LP “Beats and Places” will be released on the 28th November. They will be inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2007. They are ranked #44 on Rolling Stone magazine’s Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time list.

If this sounds like a strange question to be asking on a game site, there’s a reason for it. We geeks are not exactly known for our incredible physical prowess – and that seems to be a problem for some with the Wii. Gamers across the US are already complaining of aches, pains, and even injuries due to the console.

A term was coined a generation ago – “Nintendo Thumb.” That wonderful predecessor to carpal tunnel syndrome is finally outdated thanks to the Wii’s new control. However, the Wiimote (particularly with Wii Sports) has its own problem – it actually makes people get up and move. Therefore, people in rather poor physical condition are burning calories and straining muscles that they didn’t even know they had before now. continuing

Apparently most gamers are in such a bad shape that they can’t game on their Wii for too long. And now they’re complaining about it. But instead of realizing that it is their own poor condition that is causing injuries and actual swet to appear, hey blame the Wii! Of course it’s all to blame on the Wii, damn Wiimote. They should make a controller for the Wiimote itself so people don’t have to move too much. Just imagine, gamers that can actally get good grades in gymastics class(es)!

All these Hollywood so called stars must have really good managers. And Britney Spears is the best example of this. Little forgotten innocent woman singer, coming back after the pregnancy vacation. Guys from group HLS lately brought us some very nice dvd screeners, way sooner than anyone else, and now there’s another one: Marie Antoinette. An expansion pack for The Lord Of The Rings – The Battle For Middle-Earth 2 was released few moments ago, entitled The Witch King. This extension was also known as “The Rise of The Witch King”, but guys from RELOADED made it finally little shorter – which is pretty good idea, because the name of this is already little extra long. The main news should be economical part of the game, along with new hero’s army (so there will be 4 already). The other news are also hero related, he can now die or control way more objects on the map. EA developers should play a bit with the size of The Witch King, coz 4 GB for an expansion pack seems to be little over the heap for me…
