There are only 2 posts about music releases at Releaselog, as I don’t specialize in music too much, but now it’s an ideal time to make another post. The reason is quite simple, one of the best music scene group, RNS, released soundtrack for another sequel of Fast and Furious, extra popular car racing & tuning serie. Tokyo Drift, which is the name of last movie, will be available on 16th June. This soundtrack is scheduled even 4 days after the openening night, but you can get it already now, with 2 weeks pre. I’ve already listened a part of it, but it’s not that hot as it may look, the songs are not exactly my taste, but they will probably fit well the movie (btw. the main character stared by Paul Walker from previous 2 movies is now replaced by another actor, Nick Barcelona).

The soundtrack to the third installment of The Fast and the Furious film franchise will be released on Tuesday June 20th, 2006, just four days after the film hits theaters. Release group SaGa brought us first release of new horror The Omen which was first showed in american cinemas this night. The authors also choose a pretty stylish date for such a movie, 6.6.2006 is ideal for this kind of film. It’s a remake of same-titled movie from 1976 filmed by director John Moore. It’s also not only horror, more likely a thriller, so if you are too scared of watching horrors, this isn’t that bad for you. What’s bad is the quality of this cam – although it’s on 2 CDs, the image is blurry and dark. Aspect ratio (AR) is also little wrong, while sound’s quite good, just with slight echo. It’s watchable, but only for the biggest fan of this movie, everyone else should wait for some better copy…

Gregory Peck is the ambassador to the United States who’s wife has a stillborn child. Without her knowledge, he substitutes another baby as theirs. A few years go by, and then grisly deaths begin to happen. The child’s nanny hangs herself and a priest is speared to death in a freak accident. It turns out the child is the son of Satan and can only be killed with the seven daggers of Meggado.

There’s finally some good release at the end of day. Release group DoNE published unrated version of dvdrip, which will hit stores in 2 weeks, so you get it with nice advantage. The movie itself is quite good and it will provide the nice watching experience together with this 2 CD dvdrip with AC3 sound. The bitrate and resolution are also pretty fine, so this is a must for all horror lovers!

Wes Craven produces this remake of his 1977 classic of the same name, about the Carters, an idyllic American family travelling through the great American southwest. But their trip takes a detour into an area closed off from the public, but more importantly from society. An area originally used by the U.S. Government for nuclear testing that was intended to be empty…or so they thought? When the Carter’s car breaks down at the old site, they’re stranded…or are they? As the Carters may soon realize that what seemed like a car casually breaking down, might actually be a trap. A common problem with notebooks and their low-capacity drives is probably the history now. Toshiba’s Storage Device Division (SDD) has introduced a 200 GB, 2.5-inch HDD, based on advanced Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) technology. This second-generation PMR offering also features, according to Toshiba, the world’s highest areal density at 178.8 GB per square inch, and the highest capacity in the standard 9.5-mm mobile PC format. At 98gms, the new 2.5-inch HDD is light-weight, and incorporates the Serial ATA (SATA) II interface with native command queuing that enables faster data transfer rates and improved technical performance. The HDD boasts of boosting data capacity to 1.67 times that of Toshiba’s highest capacity, conventional 2.5-inch drive. The new drive is a slim 9.5 mm, as it contains just two hard-disk platters and four heads.

According to Toshiba, with its new HDD, mobile PC manufacturers can create value with end consumers by providing enough capacity for gaming, video, music, and other multimedia applications. The mass production of the 2.5-inch 200GB MK2035GSS HDD will start in August 2006. Toshiba is the industry leader in mobile HDD shipments (2.5 inch or smaller form factors), with a 29 percent market share. The company has held this position since Q3 of 2005. This is a really huge jump from current biggest drives offering 120 GB and also a great news for all us, filesharers. The size of current games and movies is still increasing so every additional gigabyte is really welcomed change…

One of the world’s most notorious spammers has settled lawsuits with the state of Texas and Microsoft Corp. that cost him at least $1 million, took away most of his assets and forced him to stop sending the nuisance e-mails.Ryan Pitylak, 24, who graduated from the University of Texas last month, has admitted sending 25 million e-mails every day at the height of his spamming operation in 2004. At one time, Pitylak was listed as the fourth-worst spammer in the world by the Spamhaus Project, a London-based international clearinghouse that tracks spammers and works closely with law enforcement officials.

The civil settlements were both reached last month in federal court. As part of the settlement with Microsoft, Pitylak promised never again to send out false, misleading or unsolicited commercial e-mails. Pitylak, who plans to help Internet companies fight spam, said he would sell his $430,000 house and a 2005 BMW to help pay his fines and legal bills. The only problem is that his place is arleady replaced by someone else, so my email box may continue to be filled with tons of viagra, cialix and home mortgage crap. Burn in hell, bastard!

I’m not usually covering console games (actually I haven’t written single post about console game) but now I feel it’s the right time to make small exception. The reason is simple, release group Echelon released hot new game for PS2: “Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories”. There’s probably nobody on the Earth who played some game and doesn’t know GTA, it’s simply a legend. It’s also tradition for Grand Theft Auto series, that pc versions are released way later, after console one, so we all computer gamers must wait a bit. Liberty City Stories is available for PSP and PlayStation 2 and the size is also quite small, just something above 1 GB. This is a must for every real gangster!

It’s time to return to Liberty City, the town where all the rules were broken as Grand Theft Auto 3 revolutionized gaming and made the GTA series the biggest franchise on the planet. The PlayStation Portable edition is an all-new game set in the seedy, sprawling underworld of Liberty City.
