SiN Episode 1 Emergence

The long awaited highly anticipated SiN Episode 1 has just been released to the scene.

Some people are calling this the most expensive game in history due to the fact that you have to buy all 9 episodes to complete the game @ 19USD per game (Steam).

As each episode is supposed to be 3-4 hrs game time. This is a reasonably long game however looking at Oblivion with 150hrs+ gametime at around $70 makes you think will this be worthwhile for those that are looking at buying a new game.
Considering your on this site it looks like you wont be paying for it anyways so download away and post your comments! :]

Down in the Valley, cool limited western

A release group Alliance published dvdrip of almost unknown western during this night. The movie called “Down the Valley” seems like the return to old good cowboy’s & dust actions, and with IMDB rating at 7.1 of 10 may be quite a good choice.

Down in the Valley Wow Edward Norton rocks the screen again playing a cowboy with a very layered and subtle performance. It is beautifully shot and the four main characters are original and yet painfully familiar in their alienation, anger, and despair. The character played by Rory Culkin, “Twig”, says very little throughout the film and yet he conveys a sense of yearning and loneliness almost too painful to bare. But even he undergoes an unexpected transformation by the end of the film. The lead is a beautiful creature on the screen. Her relationship with the Cowboy seemed unlikely at first and then became completely believable, especially in the bathtub scene. If you love independent you really will enjoy the artistic quality of this film. There are also several scenes that border on surrealism. This film will leave you thinking and wondering about your life, isn’t that what we always would hope for after leaving the movies.

Grand Theft Auto IV coming in 2007

Rockstar Games strikes back. In one of the most shocking announcements at E3, Microsoft revealed that it quite literally stole away some of Sony’s audience. One of the PlayStation’s most notoriously popular franchises, the Grand Theft Auto series, is confirmed to be coming to the Xbox 360. Previous editions of GTA were released exclusively on the PlayStation 2 in October, and were later ported to the Xbox. Now we know that Grand Theft Auto 4 will be hitting the Xbox 360 on “day one,” alongside the PlayStation 3 version of the game.

Grand Theft Auto IV will be available on October 16, 2007, in North America, and October 19 in Europe. Peter Moore did announce that Microsoft and Rockstar have signed an exclusive agreement to provide episodic content via Xbox Live, though he did not specifically limit the content to GTAIV. As I am a huge fan of GTA serie, this is more than happy news for me. Neverending hours of playing are coming back to become real. Let’s hope for fast conversion to PC too…

Sony unveils PlayStation 3 release dates

The E3 conference is a great opportunity to announce some very important news with attention of much bigger audience, and Sony did it. They will begin with selling this next-gen console on November 11 in Japan and November 17 in the United States, where an entry-level machine would cost $499. The same unit, with a 20-gigabyte hard drive, will retail for 59,800 yen in Japan and 499 euros in Europe, where it also will debut on November 17.Sony, coming to market about a year after its rival Microsoft Corp. began selling its Xbox 360 next-generation console, will also sell a unit with a 60-gigabyte hard drive for $599 in the United States. Video game fans have been waiting to see what Sony would offer, and especially at what price, in order to decide whether to wait for the PS3 or buy an Xbox 360 now. Sony also introduced a bluetooth-powered motion-sensitive wireless controller. Anyway, I still prefer old good computers…

E3 2006: Halo 3 announced

The most expected gaming action, Los Angeles located E3, begun. Microsoft officially unveiled Halo 3 during its E3 press conference in this night, and the company released a trailer for its highly-anticipated sequel on the Internet and its Xbox Live service. Halo 3 will be the first Halo game designed for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console, and the importance to the company was highlighted by the fact that Bill Gates, Microsoft chairman and chief software architect, was on hand to help announce the game.

The importance of a new Halo game for the Xbox 360 cannot be underestimated. The original Halo was a launch title for the first Xbox, and was easily the biggest hit, driving sales of that system. Halo 2, which launched in 2004, became a cultural event, with thousands of gamers lining up for hours for the midnight launch. Halo 2 made entertainment history by generating $125 million in sales in one day. However, Microsoft didn’t mention Halo 3 at all during last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, and fans had been left wondering when the software giant would finally drop the big news. Well, the waiting for news of Halo 3 has now come to an end. Now they’ll have to wait to 2007 for the game itself. It looks so cool…
