As usual this time, Oscar nominees were announced. This year, it’s all about one movie: Brokeback mountain. The film earned eight nominations, including for best picture, best director, and best leading actor. Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger was among the nominees for best actor, announced by actress Mira Sorvino at an early morning news conference. My favourite, film Crash, an ensemble story that explores racial and ethnic tensions, received six nominations, including best picture and best supporting actor for Matt Dillon. The results will be known on 5th March, here is complete list of main nominations:

Group MiSFiTS released new telesync of great horror Hostel in XviD. This release was out already yesterday, but I’ve little forgot to write about it. Quality isnt somehow wonderful as in the most of telesyncs, but its definetely watchable. Check out our samples (thx to roraima).

Two adventurous American college buddies, Paxton and Josh, backpack through Europe eager to make quintessentially hazy travel memories with new friend Oli, an Icelander they’ve met along the way. Paxton and Josh are eventually lured by a fellow traveler to what’s described as a nirvana for American backpackers–a particular hostel in an out-of-the-way Slovakian town stocked with Eastern European women as desperate as they are gorgeous. The security hole, found in the latest version of Winamp 5.12, could lead to malicious attackers taking remote control of a Winamp user’s system. Earlier versions of the media player may also be affected, Secunia said. The company posted version 5.13 of the media player online on Monday after Secunia and other security companies issued alerts about the problem. Malicious software exploiting the “extremely critical” flaw was already circulating on the Internet. This exploit is available on many public sites and there are also more effective private versions, so every WinAmp’s user should install this new version.

Even though the security company gave the vulnerability its highest rating for software threats, it noted that the number of people who use Winamp has declined over the years, so the scope of the problem is not as large as it once might have been. “Winamp used to be the world’s most popular MP3 player and is still quite popular, but as Windows Media Player has gotten better, some users have migrated over,” said Thomas Kristensen, Secunia’s chief technology officer. Yeah you read right..there is a dvdscr floating around from the Movie “Munich” but the thing is that it’s not a scene release but a release which is comming directly from the P2P network..funny isn’t it :p. Anywayz the quality seems perfect so far i saw sum screens and it should be around on public torrent very soon (torrentleech already has the dvd). What a strange name for movie. Anyway, neither title nor world’s most known actors do great film. And what’s more, not many movies got IMDB rating 8.0 of 10, so it looks like a piece worth watching.
