20 Years After 2008 DVDRip Xvid-TFE

This was released about 20 minutes ago and skimmed past it but then i watched the trailer and it actually looks like it could be pretty decent for a B grade movie. (And i also usually love any movie/game that is set in post-apocalyptic times so ill most likely give it a go)

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong: War, Terrorism, Natural Disasters. Evacuees were ushered from the cities to refugee camps in the surrounding counties. In-fighting, famine and disease took their toll on the survivors. Now, twenty years after the bombs fell and the plagues ran their course the few that remain live in fear and without hope. Azura Skye (28 DAYS, ONE MISSED CALL) stars as Sarah in this Post-Apocalyptic Fairy Tale about a young woman’s journey to deliver the first child born in 15 Years. Sarah’s refusal to give up is inspired by a lone voice on her radio. Michael (Joshua Leonard, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT) broadcasts dim and distant messages of hope mixed with the music he scavenges from the dead. Forced from her basement home by drought and relentlessly pursued by those who want her baby, Sarah crosses paths with Michael in a cavernous, underground refuge of disparate survivors. It is from Three Caves that Michael and Sarah will embark on a journey beyond the boundaries of the Southern Corridor and into the unknown future.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH (the Brendan Frazer one) screener is out. It’s on a non-scene release on a private tracker. 968MB xvid. It appears to be vhs screener, but a very good one with no b&w scenes, and no property warnings (just finished watching). It shouldnt be long untill one of the scene groups put it out.

LOL@MrE. If you’re that worried about the “government” tracking you and finding you don’t download things illegally.

And WHY are you unsure about peerguardian? Not enough thousands of torrent users recommending it?

In all honestly, it won’t be the government tracking you down, it will be the RIAA or whatever version your country has of it. Just steer away from fake torrents, crappy ISPs and child pornography and you should be fine

“DO WE GET ANY RELEASES ANYMORE THAT WE’VE ACTUALLY HEARD OF”

I agree! I really hate hearing about new stuff that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. I demand that Releaselog only tell me about things I already know about!

“What do u guys use for downloading? I mean are there any programmes that stop the government tracking you and fining you. I have heard about peer guardian but im unsure. I usually just use Utorrent. Any Advice?”

Downloading from Rapidshare (or any other file hosting site) is completely safe. Even if they did somehow find out that you were downloading movies, nothing would happen to you. They want to stop uploading (AKA “unauthorized distribution”). Also, downloading from Usenet Newsgroups is completely safe for the same reasons.

As far as BitTorrent or any other form of file sharing goes, there’s really no way to be safe other than not downloading music and recent movies. File sharing or Peer-2-Peer works by transferring the files directly between users. For this to work, the others users MUST know your IP address. If legitimate users can get your IP address to download from you, the music & movie industries can get your IP address to sue you.

Block lists will never be 100% effective. The anti-piracy groups would be stupi not to watch such lists and switch to different IP addresses as soon as the ones they’re using get added to the list. And if they can be online for even a day before being blocked, they can catch you.

The other side of the equation is that is 500+ people are sharing a particular file, what are the chances that they will single out your IP address.

For what it’s worth, my advice is to stick to RS and newsgroups for new releases and only use P2P for older, more obscure stuff.

    September 25th, 2008 | 02:31

Wow. The plot reads like a bad (and obvious) mishmash of similar genre films–Children of Men, Terminator (main character is even named Sarah), and ironically, even 28 Days Later, the very movie which the lead actress starred in.

    September 25th, 2008 | 02:39

@lucy – Azura Skye was never in 28 Days Later, she was in “28 Days”, a completely different movie (romantic comedy or something).

“And WHY are you unsure about peerguardian? Not enough thousands of torrent users recommending it?”

That applies equally to Scientology. Which perhaps has a higher level of credibility, aliens and all.

Peerguardian consists of a public blocklist compiled without quality controls compiled by know-nothing kids making dumb assumptions based on nothing but paranoia and ignorance.
Why would you be sure ?

If your going to use torrents to source your warez then just make sure you stay low key.
Use a small closed private torrent tracker for all your new scene content, there is no need to use a large tracker for that content.
Just find a small one with good speeds. Only use larger trackers for getting older or uncommon releases (higher retention ;p).

Use peerguardian or something similar (dont use pg’s bogon filter, it can be extremely outdated resulting in you not being able to connect to legitimate peers).
