2 Stoner Releases: Super High Me, Totally Baked
Me and a few other editors at RLSLOG have already posted documentaries and debates about drugs here on rlslog. To me its an interesting issue which is very important but its very hard to know where to stand. The people who are completely FOR the legalization seem to be a bunch of loose hippies, whereas the people who want to ban all recreational drug use all together seem to be a group of uptight pricks who never had a second of fun in their lives. As always I’m sure there will be a heated debate about this in the comments, so go ahead and voice your opinion. I’ve included some links to previous drug related posts here on rlslog so go ahead and educate yourself. The first release is a documentary, but the second is a comedy/documentary.

This looks like the decent documentary out of the two. Whereas the next release has a lousy 2.3 rating on IMDB, Super High Me has an excellent 8.6 rating. Only 90 votes so far of course, but its a good indication at least.
Quality: This looks like an excellent quality DVDScreener. Both image and audio quality might as well be a DVDRip and a really great one at that. No B/W scenes or watermarks as far as the eye can see. Enjoy.

Here is the seemingly crappy comedy. It might be that this film contains a lot of gags that only stoners will understand, but taking a second look on the IMDB rating makes me think otherwise. Some people tend to laugh at any kind of drug/sex related jokes though so this might be something for you.
Quality: Image and audio quality both look very good as you can expect from a DVDRip. AC3 audio is included which is good news. No problems here so go ahead and download if this appeals to you.

Everything I can find say that possession has been “decriminalized” in some countries. But if you’re caught with it you still have to give it up to the cops, and you might get fined as well.

I smoke weed, and continue to make the money I need to keep all the things that I enjoy paid for. I keep my job as my #1 priority because I have to; and when it comes time for work I maintain control by not smoking at or before work, or else I won’t do shiot and then I’ll be stuck with more shiot the next day. I agree that there are some people who smoke, who just say f’it to just about everything, but there are also those who still smoke “responsibly.” I’ve never allowed my use of marijuana to interfere with my life in a negative way. The main point I’m driving at is that weeds effect on an individual will depend greatly on the current responsibility and well-being of the individual; and whether or not he will be able to control his habit. If weed was to ever interfere with my family for instance, in a negative way, I would quit. I’ve experienced FAR WORSE drugs than weed, including alcohol which kills people all the time (including some people i’ve known); and i must say that weed is the easiest (safest) drug to maintain and control. I enjoy being sober just as much as i enjoy getting “stoned,” but those who have it the opposite need to get up and take a stroll outside and see all there is in life to be had. I don’t look down on anyone who doesn’t smoke, because if he doesn’t think he is *ready (*ready being associated with many things) for something like that, than that is understandable. All other drugs..now thats a different story. As for weed, I find nothing better after a hard days work than sitting down, smoking a jay, and listening to some Beethoven or Bach. Well thats me

I’m not a stoner WandL. I’m a person. The reason that I used the term, is because ReeGed decided to use ” 2 Stoner Releases” as the title to this post.
Again, and if I wasn’t already clear enough about this, it wasn’t intended to be taken seriously. I figured people who were both high, and not high, would find it funny. You know, LOL?!
If you chose to make a big deal out of anything, then that’s your choice. But it wasn’t necessary to get nasty, as it isn’t necessary for you to sh!t on cjcarlos. It’s your choice. And to me it’s not a very good choice if you want people to follow your ideals.

I use to smoke weed, when I was a teen, but it just seems to have a negative affect on most people. Like not feeling like doing anything, being lazy. Eventually I started noticing problems with remembering things and decided to quit because it was screwing with my mind. Plus I was missing school. I have met the 1 kid that got A’s and B’s in high school, but he did his homework before smoking and I’ve met atleast 50 others who didn’t and skipped school, smoked and did nothing except hang out and eat.
I’ll be watching the first documentary anyways.
But I do think it has more of a negative affect on more people than the people supporting legalization think. Actually, if you look at the arguments between the 2 (anti-weed and pro-weed), you’ll find a lot of contradictions between the 2 arguments where both sides can’t be correct about their facts. I don’t really care personally, because I wouldn’t do it even if it were legal, but I think we’d see something change with the economy if it were legal. Less people going into work, etc.
I also don’t see how alcohol is a worst drug. It depends on the quantities at which you take it. Studies show that people who have 1-2 drinks a week, live several years longer than people who remain sober. If you compare 10 shots of liquor to someone smoking 1 joint, then yeah the alcohol is probably going to be worse. It’s all very subjective and easy to manipulate the facts.

The reason you can buy cannabis in coffee shops in the Netherlands is because it is officially tolerated. In other words it is decriminalised. So wandl is correct. Remember decriminalisation and legalisation are NOT the same thing, thats why campaigners in the Netherlands are still having regular marches and rallies trying to get the Dutch government to legalalise cannabis. Try doing a little reseearch before lambasting someone for stating the correct facts, it just makes you look EXTREMELY stupid.

Somehow I don’t think the US is the biggest problem for Cuba at the present time, in my opinion Castro is the puppet master and his brother, a puppet. Until Fidel is dead there won’t be any dramatic changes to the communist state, this said, Raul is most likely to be like his brother Fidel, and for all we know, there could be no changes for a century.
I hate hearing all this left-wing propaganda that the US is the worst thing that could happen to Cuba, the living conditions for the populus of Cuba is appalling all so Castro can sit down to a nice meal with boxes on boxes of cigars. Tell me, does that sound communist to you? no, power has corrupted Guevara and Castro’s utopian world, not the US.

I think communism is only theoretically possible to be honest, people are to easily corrupted! I dont think US is the worst thing to happen to Cuba, but I think that the carrot aproach is better than the stick. US goverment could do a lot more for the Cuban people. It was the US goverments appointee who Castro overthrew, maybe if it wasnt they wouldnt have had so much resentment towards US in the first place, Fidel Castro loved the US as a young boy, havent you ever read the letter he wrote to a US president asking for a 1 dollar bill??!!

I haven’t seen the movie yet (got the actual dvd screener and will watch it later this afternoon with friends) but I’ve hung out with Doug before, and he definately inhales. He’s legal too, he’s got his California medical card. The American show someone mentioned he was on was ‘last comic standing’ and he was in the final six but didn’t win. He also has a comedy channel special, and did the marijuanalogues tour with tommy chong a couple years back.
