It’s a simple as this, allowing them to join the team doesn’t give them access to the hardware, it means they could post up reviews just like any other editor, and could be edited and removed if needed.

The more you think about it, if you have any clue how the scene actually works, there isn’t a downside for rlslog.

Hey there, why on earth would you do the star-count on the fly?

There are ofc other methods (this is how i would do it);

Do all the work when a dude press “vote”, the server looks in the SQL if there should be already a vote from this user – if not, take an integer (lets say 100, which are the number of people already voted) add +1. Now it’s 101.

Another database has all the 101 votes in it, from 1 start to 5 stars. It also holds the AVERAGE – which is calculated not on the fly, but already when another vote is put in the database.
