1408 2007 Theatrical Release DVDRiP XviD-iNTiMiD

Month ago group NeDiVx released DVDRip of this well known horror-thriller movie, but that one is DC (Directors Cut) edition. Here comes theatrical edition by iNTiMiD group. Only difference between theatrical & DC edition is different ending of the movie (last 30minutes). Rest of the movie is same. There’s no need to write about the quality, because it’s DVDRip.

Plot: A man who specializes in debunking paranormal occurrences checks into the fabled room 1408 in the Dolphin Hotel. Soon after settling in, he confronts genuine terror.

whats the diff in the movie ending of this version from orig one

  2. October 10th, 2007 | 16:59

you have to probably download to see.

anyway, the DC version was way too long to enjoy it, they should have make it like 90 mins and not to prolong it till everyone gets bored

  3. October 10th, 2007 | 16:59

Well, i cant tell that, i don’t want to write spoilers. And i think this one is supposed to be “original version”, since it’s played in theaters.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the only real difference between the DC and the Theatrical Cut the ending? Can’t remember any difference in length, TBH.

I liked the ending of the Theatrical Cut much better, it gave you a lot more to think about and everything wasn’t as crystal clear as in the DC.

Sometimes Director’s cut is better. Like James Cameron’s “The Abyss”. The the theatrical version made little or no sense.
But then again; Kevin Costner’s DC of “Dances With Wolves: Now with extra Indians” wasn’t to good. That was a loOong movie.. With a loOot of extra indians..

The Extended Directors Cut (As it’s Officially Known As) Lasts 8 Minutes Longer Then The Theatrical Release & Has an Alternate Ending Along With Some Prolonged Snippets of Violence.

and of course once again imdb has no clue about alternate versions…

lol, you would think they’d have this covered at least for a number one u.s.a. box-office title, since they are already such a mainstream site, but nooo

so now you are left with the prospect digging through all kinds of replies on their message board

Hmm, the theatrical ending is the one in the original story so that’s the one you’d be expecting, kinda dumb to make the alternate ending the DC. Based on Stephen King’s story btw, nobody seemed to mention

ARG! The KING version is the DC or TR??? Seems to me the TR is the KING version even though I have no idea what the TR ending is.

Awful movie. It’s interesting at first but then when he arrives at the room it just gets plain cheeeeeeezzzzee. You get snippets of how bad an actor John Cusack is at the beginning of the movie but then it just turns to crap. I wanted to like this movie but not even is “twist” and “double-twist” could save this one. Skip it unless you’ve watched everything else out there. The good thing is that it wasn’t as bad Rocky Balboa.

I really liked this movie. It was fancy and kept me entertained all the way to the end.

Since this was based on a Stephen King short story I didn’t expect much. He’s storys always starts interesting, but fails to deliver in the end. (I haven’t read the novel)

Probably not a movie for everyone though.

King’s novel is best in read. No movie can reach the quality of the novel. By the way, the TC ending is less dark, and the DC ending was shown before in the ‘Silent Hill’ movie. The power of King’s novels is the invisible slip between the reality and unreality – that’s why the long start of the movie. Sadly, not more, than a revision of drug trips, with missed catharsis and any explanation.

I loved the movie and I have yet to see the DC ending. The TC left me to wonder. Definantly something to think about!
