CRD just released a new version of the popular program Internet Download Manager. It’s one of the best download managers in my opinion. It has a lot of handy features, like downloading movies from youtube,… in FLV format. Make sure you read the install.txt !!!

Description:
Internet Download Manager(IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds by up to 5 times, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use.Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download managers and accelerators Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during download process and reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve best acceleration performance.

Internet Download Manager supports proxy servers, ftp and http protocols, firewalls, redirects, cookies, authorization, MP3 audio and MPEG video content processing. IDM integrates seamlessly into Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, MSN Explorer, AOL, Opera, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Firebird, Avant Browser, MyIE2, and all other popular browsers to automatically handle your downloads. You can also drag and drop files, or use Internet Download Manager from command line.     I like this app, but you have put to much description for it ( I know you can use copy\paste function LOL )… but some people don’t have all day to read articles… :-D

    free download manager! no need to patch or crack works with rapidhsare premium account megaupload and all other file host, just select the links no matter how many there are and wait for it to complete the downloads.. it’s even fast too when downloading. orbit is ok but it’s kind of hard to configure with rapidshare account.

    Im using Orbit downloader and to me it’s pretty good. The only downside is, Orbit can’t seem to ‘get’ videos from Purevolume. Unless this can do the job, I’ll stick to Orbit.

    Dosent work for me, i had the trial and its now run out, when i try to reg it complains saying dodgy key. Anyone know how to fix? (yes i have read the install.txt) if not i’ll buy it XD

    Worst download manager ever,has no history,the GUI s*cks and above all,the only dl manager I know except IDM that rebuilds the files after downloading is IE,and because of it,IDM regularly corrupts the files while rebuilding!

    IDM is a no nonsense, quick and easy to use download manager. I used to use DAP but certain sites did not work with it. I have no problems with IDM.
