Wow, this really seems like a f***ed up show to say the least. I’ve only seen the sample so far and I don’t think I’ll be watching this episode. It seems to literally be about what the title of the show implies: people dying. The show goes through a series of extraordinary deaths caught on tape. I doubt its VERY graphic, because if it was it wouldn’t be allowed on US television, nevertheless I suggest you skip this if you are sensitive.

first off its on u.s. tv so its nothing hardcore…if you were to take this off i think rambo 4 should be taken off…body parts flying everywhere, heads exploding, baby getting tossed in the fire(all in rambo 4) is more hardcore than this show

Having a TV14 rating I dare say it won’t be too graphic (14 years and over) but this seems completely f***ed up IMO. This is the end result of a 3 months writers strike and a prime example of how depraved human society really is if we have to resort to ridiculous s*** like this for “entertainment”.

This kind of stuff does not belong on rlslog net. There is no XXX also on rlslog. Which is also ok. If one really wants to find morbid and explicit stuff there are many other ways to find it. Death is a final and personal thing which should not be displayed as a circus carnivale event. It reminds me of gladiator games in ancient Rome where death was on display for crowds amusement. Such explicit shows degrade human sense of sorrow, compassion and it numbs one’s perception of how cruel violent death really is. Producers deliberately create such shows because they attract viewers (live death on tv is like final frontier of exceptance and we are approaching it) and they condition us on accepting other real horrors like war and civilian massacres by armed forces of USA, Israel and alike…Is it not kind of “perverse” to watch another fellow human being die? I find it very,very depressing and sad and I simply think such show does not belong on rlslog.

For one, it is allowed on US tv, so, for most of you, your government allowed it (note, I said most, I am not an American).
Two, it is only death, so instead of asking “how sick do you have to be to watch this”, it is more “how much cotton wool did you apply to yourself and your children today”.
Death happens every second of every day, without it, we would all be dead (bad english FTW).
Also from what I can tell, they are not the actual people dying, but, actors, models etc.
Besides, the human mind CAN handle death, seeing it, or causing it, how else did we survive the past 9001+ years. (Evolution etc).
I could go on, but, I just remembered why I dont post my opinion online much, because it wont change anyones mind and no one really cares. So, yeah.

Everyone needs to settle down. This is a Spike TV series thats rated tv14, not something off Rotten or Ogrish. I guess the best description is a over-the-top dramatizations of unusual ways to die followed by scientific explanations of what happened.

if it was on Spike TV then it’s censored, either that or stupid staged re-enactments. they would never show anything gruesome, it’s a mainstream US network and they are so tame they even censor episodes of Pamela Anderson’s old tv series VIP.in one episode of VIP that i saw air here in Canada Pam was wearing a thong that showed her butt cheeks, and when i saw the exact same scene airing on Spike they digitized on a ridiculous digital bathing suit that covered up more of her butt. then again in the US they are more shocked by nudity then they are violence… they won’t show a naked tit on network tv but will show a crime show with people being murdered etc..

Even if it is not graphic, you are talking about watching a human life being extinguished, people with families, and lives. Whatever happened to dignity in death? A person’s life is tragically cut short and it becomes entertainment for the mindless masses. How sick and depraved has American culture become? This was absolutely pathetic!! Claims to be real footage when all they done was make fake security camera footage and the acting is terrible!! The last incident is the only footage that is real which has been shown a billion times on tv around the poor, this shoulda been PG rated, absolutely pointless dribble for ratings by spike tv.
