A nice teen movie from 8 years ago is released by PFa. I remember I watched this film a few year after it was released in the time that I was searching for teen movies to watch. I don’t remember the exact story of this film but I remember it was nice to watch. With a nice 6.7 IMDB rating PFa brings another release in good quality. Enjoy!
Meet the Stratford sisters: pretty and popular Bianca (LARISA OLEYNIK), who has never had a date; and Kat (JULIA STILES), her older sibling, an ill-tempered harridan whose acerbic wit is matched only by her steadfast determination to alienate any guy who might be remotely interested in her.
Unfortunately, strict rules in the Stratford household forbid Bianca from having a boyfriend until her odious sister has one of her own a situation that seems highly improbable considering Kat is a social disaster.
Bianca’s desperation for romance turns into a convoluted scheme to match Kat with her male equivalent — a guy whose reputation is so infamous, Kat might rise to the challenge and find him worthy of her concealed charms. Mating mayhem ensues when Patrick Verona (HEATH LEDGER) (a sullen young man with a mysterious past — is bribed by Bianca’s wannabe boyfriend (ANDREW KEEGAN) to woo and win Kat, in order to clear the way for Bianca to begin dating.

6.7? it’s def worth a 8 or something. One of the best ‘teen’ movies around altho it has more depth then the regular teenmovie (it’s based on a shakespeare novel).
Larisa Oleynik, Heath ledger, Joseph gordon-levitt and Julia Stiles. Lots of talent in this movie (and there’s more).

Yea, this movie is pretty good. Oh yea that Shakespeare’s play that this is based on is The Taming of the Shrew.
This is an awesome movie. Almost 10 years and still it rules! I was hoping to find another version of “Taming of the shrew” I saw back when I was a kid.

Loved this movie. It’s a bit chick flick and feelgood, but the feelgood is what I like about it. Pretty funny too.
A mate had the DVD and it used to get a fairly regular watching. Good to see it’s been ripped!
Gayest movie ever. I used to have a girlfriend who watched this movie every couple of weeks, and she’d make me watch it with her. Fucking torture.
Julia Stiles in that football (that’s “soccer” to some of you) kit! Enough to make you love this.
I was gonna download this movie when this was first posted but I was running low on hard drive space. Now that Heath Ledger has died, I had to go back and search for this post. This is a definite download for me.
