    June 25th, 2008 | 13:51

i dont get it……… whats the idea and hows this helpfull?

  2. Jerry
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:51

Personally I would prefer individual posts for each release with descriptions etc. More value added than simply providing a list. Thanks anyway though!

  3. MelfQuin
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:54

    I agree with #2

  4. hey
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:56

    this wastes download bandwidth no?

  5. therapix
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:56

too many apps together. I think I’ll pass, but I think it’s a good idea.

  6. P Del Castro
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:56

Yeah not a big fan of the list. Thanks anyway.

  7. someone13
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:56

I believe this is a good way to go, because then at least we get to see what all has been released.

Also you can keep posting 1 or 2 apps (which you find will appeal to all users) with description as usual.

  8. turdburglar
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:57

    #2 is correct

  9. tele
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:57

    wtf is this?!

  10. someone13
    June 25th, 2008 | 13:58

@4 the link provides individual links for every app so it does not waste bandwidth.

For a program description one can always Google it.

    June 25th, 2008 | 13:59

    lmao!!!

    @ Christian

Do you even know what 0day/0sec means??? lol.

  12. Internet Police
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:00

And how about the best of both worlds?
Individual posts are just fine, and do add more value to the site than mere lists, on that I agree.

What I think would be great is making these 0day pack posts at the end of each day, or at the beginning of the next one, just in case something was missed, and also to provide an adequate insight into The App Scene activity.

It would all work out in much the same way the TV Roundup posts do. Why not? ;)

    Dobar post, Kristijane <3

    June 25th, 2008 | 14:00

0day packs are useful on private trackers (it would be annoying to have a torrent for every small app), but here it’s not. I mean RLSLOG is great because it gives a nice description of all the latest scene releases. The description is the key.

  14. Harryno5
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:00

I agree with 1,2 and 3. I’d rather see individual post, atleast that way I can read the details and judge if I should download it or not. with this i’ll just ignore the post completely.

  15. yes
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:02

that’s too many fuc*in’ apps. if it ain’t this way, rlslog servers one day will crash or something!

  16. Mr.Floppy
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:02

dont fall to the ways of other torrent sites..Different posts mean easier decisions but more time from your side. But think of us simple users who dont know what are all these apps about..

  17. notasuprhero
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:03

I’d like RLSLOG to be sort of a filter instead of all the crappy small things in a big bunch.

  18. juDGEY
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:03

Nice post fook the bit.ches moaning ;)

  19. BustaLinx
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:04

    Do both.

I don’t care for most of the releases, but maybe pick one or two if you feel we’ll gain something else from having a whole post just for that release.

  20. rochie
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:05

well i don’t mind downloading a few things like apps and movies and i do try to support buy buying when i can and if i like but this is just doing a lot of people and companies out of income…
this is downloading getting out of hand when there are so many app’s in one pack with no chance to review them and justify there use or need so com’on and be fair and at least attach a link to the sites where you could buy this products

  21. sigh
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:05

its all the one person again…
change your name and agree with your opinion in the hope that people are fooled into thinking thats the majority decision.
Boring, but thanks anyway “wrong poster” from the other day.

  22. Latin pussi
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:05

    thx op. nice.

and you know, why people whine about list releases even if they can download each separately?

cause they have to do the research themself to find out what the apps do. amazing to see these days people even dont want to search. :O

  23. Nut Cutlett
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:06

    i agree with sigh

  24. unknown
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:07

there’s a 0day pack about every other day…so we can just check the list in the torrent details…appreciate the effort but i feel this is unnecessary…

  25. Circuit Daemon
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:11

I think it’s better than getting rlslog filled with crap like those appz that do the same as tuneup utilities and stuff, I like to know what’s been released even if I don’t download it, but I don’t need a separate post for each one… Keep it that way =D

  26. Hmmm
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:12

    June 23

    Your 2 days late lol

  27. Stark
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:12

I think this complicates things and lowers quality.
    I dont like it

    Good iniative.Please continue!!!

If you´re on the lookout for an application for a specific purpose, then you already know what you´re looking. Why

    June 25th, 2008 | 14:16

    R.L.S.L.O.G.I.S.F.U.C.K.I.N.G.G.A.Y

  31. xyztynz
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:16

Thanks Christian. I appreciate it either way, but in this new format I believe you’re gonna confuse alotta poor souls, in other words lazy azz morons who can’t be bothered to look something up themselves.

  32. safe is not aiming straight
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:17

If you´re on the lookout for an application for a specific purpose, then you already know what you´re looking. Why do you need to be told what a specific app does. And aren´t most the names self-explanatory?

If not, it´s just one google search away, are you that stupid that you cant even search for yourself?!

  33. Redline
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:18

Yeah, like many whom has mentioned, i kinda prefer “individual post”. I hate going through one by one. But, its a good idea though;)

  34. Bash
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:19

You should continue doing these imo… BUT, only if there are like a gazillion useless apps (like in this one) :D … Still, I don’t think I’ll be downloading this, as the list is big, and don’t see anything useful/known

  35. WakuWaku
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:19

So, i only have to Google like 75 apps. ?
Lets take 3 minutes each for checking websites etc.
Thats about 3,5 / 4 hours of Googling.

  36. Twicemore
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:21

    ewwwwww. noooo

  40. X Marks The Spot
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:28

Excellent post, Christian. Very convenient to have Oday packs available with individual links for each app. This is a welcome feature here regardless of what the n00bs are whining about.

Good idea and hope to see more of this!

  41. rochie
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:29

@ 21 no i always post under rochie and i stand by what i say
also i agree that this does lower quality and it’s a step in the wrong direction

  42. Aviel
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:30

Great idea ! what about a pack for Mac OSX apps ? it’s will be great :)

  43. Kay
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:30

nah i dont agree with u christian
i agree with the majority, and No.2 Jerry
its better having individual aps posted, that way nothing is missed out, (unlike a listing)
and if its directdownload it will be eisier to download, instead waiting for 60minutes for the next download.

  44. Dewd
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:32

Well, considering those are like 52 apps on a single day, I’d much prefer this list over 52 individual posts about apps that probably only 1% of visitors actually download. And due to the huge effort it would be impossible to post about ever single one so you might miss an app that might actually be useful to you but maybe isn’t worth being posted in the author’s opinion.

And in general stop bashing rlslog, it’s a free service that no one is obligated to use so if you don’t like gtfo and stfu.

  45. Angra
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:32

Personally I think this is very very good.
And to everyone who agrees with #2:
Have you actually seen how many apps are included?
I believe you wouldn’t make individual posts for all these apps, would you?
I believe best option was #7, not saying that the list is not good…

  46. Angra
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:34

    Exactly what Dewd said.

  47. Lonely
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:34

I guess it’s a good idea , And if u need more info … use google.
Btw, u can DL only apps that u want.

  48. Stark
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:36

But with this way we dont get information about the programs. I ve met and like many new programs through screenshots and descriptive comments that can happen only through individual posts.

  49. SpliffDonkey
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:36

You can find all 0day releases at the following site. All available as individual downloads and all showing the full nfo’s

It’s a great site for all 0day hunters, and I hope it will prove useful to some of you.

  50. Ragis
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:40

So, you guys say that it’s better to see one/two app release posts per day than have a list of 50+ releases AND one/two app posts per day ?
And I thought scene community has brains.
How about you stop whining and start to respect what other people do for you for free.
And if you don’t know how to use google, leave this site please.

  51. Harshhira
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:40

great idea :) agree with 14 about how its like a Tv round up
just to make it a bit easier could you split them into sections so its easier to read eg, Media, security, programming, Mac etc

  52. indianpunk
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:40

    http://doopes.com/

i use this site for release names and i suggest u stick with only important single posts
lets leave the list bussiness here. peace

  53. kuken
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:42

    I agree with #2

Mabie rlslog can have a special section where u can see all oday rlses everyday?

It will be so mutch odays in the blog that its gotta be just annoying after a few days.

  54. trLmos
    June 25th, 2008 | 14:45

Whine, whine, whine, whine, whine…. Whine and some more whine, anyone? You? You or you? I think it’s very well organized and if you’d like to no more I have an absolutely incredible idea, uhm; GOOGLE IT! Cheers to: DEWD!

    June 25th, 2008 | 14:51

If you do the posts and this as an added bonus… I am all for it, but if this replaces the posts… I agree w/ 2…

    VIVA LA RLSLOG!

    I agree with #2

  62. asdfsdaf
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:11

The idea is GREAT, but I think it’d be better if you could put in evidence in the post the apps of the list you think are worth to download, with maybe a brief description.

  63. james
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:12

I liked when staff picked out different apps and introduced them with screenshots to readers. I have found few nice apps I never knew I’d need them :P

    June 25th, 2008 | 15:13

awesome job guys! if the lazy ass noobs here want a description, they could just google the application.

all the whiners and complainers can go suck on their momma’s tata’s… people here are just wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to spoiled !!!

This is great, this 0 day posts.
I am trying to find Redgate Exception Handler, and it is hard to find, maybe it will pass with this 0day packs

Thanks, i took symantec to update to the latest version.

  72. IzzY
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:29

I think it’s a great idea, they make this site called Google. You can use this site to do some research on the appz, download the torrent, then just don’t download the ones you don’t want.

  73. aglort
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:29

#2 is correct. Releaselog is good because it has reviews previews and screenshots that give a sneak peak at the software. A list would not have added value except for the quantity. One would still be lost with the names and have no idea unless they were waiting for a specific program to be released.

  74. r_unit
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:31

I come to Rlslog as a convieniance. If I wanted to all of the reasearch myself I would. Please do individual posts.

  75. balso
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:32

This -let’s call it a 0day roundup /even if it’s incorrect :D /- leaves more space for apps that are worth to appear in an own post.

    Good work :)

  76. Cragdoo
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:32

Surely the whole point of RLSLog is a onestop place to get all your latest scene release information ? There shouldn’t be a need to go google the app , if all the info was provided for in the post ?? On the one hand pepole are complaining about others being too lazy to use google , but what about the people too lazy to post the details in the 1st place ????

  77. claret
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:33

this is just lazy, i prefer individual posts for each release with descriptions :D

  78. bobbull
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:34

I agree with #2 to this to big to DL

  79. UGLY
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:36

    thx @ 36!

i think rlslog should…. yup have it all in one file torrent… but allow u to choose the individual files in u’re torrent clients that u want to download…. but have more info on the apps listed to filter out the crappy apps.

    But good initial start Christian!

  80. Joe
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:41

Rlslog is a info site about scene rls, this is how the scene rls there apps.
    Stop complaining

  81. Marc
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:41

    1. The 1.xx GB download size is misleading & may scare some people off – the link leads to individual download links.

    2. He’s mentioned very clearly that the normal software reviews would continue as usual so please stop whining and
    get a clue!

    3. Please don’t stop just because there are a lot of clueless idiots who don’t understand the benefit of having 0-day apps brought daily to their doorstep. People who don’t understand the benefit of this please shut up and hit back button on your Internet Explorers coz that’s what you probably use.

  82. Otto
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:42

    I agree with #2.
    I like individual posts.

  83. darka
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:44

making a single torrent is easier and quicker, you’ve already done that with DnB and electronic music, so why not do it with apps?

  84. dedi
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:46

agree with #2. there are so many crap 0day apps coming out each and every day … just post the good ones with a lil describtion :)

  85. yorkshire
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:50

i reckon its a good idea but i think u need to do it with the games more than apps by the way dont u post movies anymore on this site (hint hint)

  86. yes xyztynz
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:52

    @xyztynz

    YOU SAID IT ALL!!!

AS I SAID BEFORE TOO, TOO MUCH INFORMATION FOR ONE SERVER ONLY IS SIMPLY “TOO MUCH”. I GUESS YOU’LL HAVE TO UNDERSTAND CHRISTIAN AND MARTIN’S POSITIONS! EVERYDAY MORE THAN 20 APPS ARE RELEASED BY THE SCENE! NOW, YOU USE RLSLOG, YOU RESPECT THEIR CHANGES. OTHERWISE, DO YOURSELF A SITE LIKE THIS ONE AND TRY TO MANAGE IT BETTER.

  87. musiclover
    June 25th, 2008 | 15:53

i would honestly rather them just do this all the time. Rarely is there anything super special about any of these apps that really deserves a long post, Apps are a warez thing that usually people specifically go looking for, not something they download because it’s there. I would never download a bunch of dvd ripping software “in anticipation” of ripping dvd’s, i’d want to do it and go find an app that lets me do it well, then look for a warez copy.

The poster could have put it in a torrent too, but that would have probably just confused people more. Selective download on a torrent works fine for grabbing single packs out of a multi-pack torrent, and doesn’t rely on these file repository sites.

I don’t use acronyms much but: LOL you all!!
0day originally has nothing to do with warez scene such as torrent. It’s private thing shared via FTP only by those who really are in da buissness… Has nothing to do with your so-called scene..

For me it’s better to see listings like this post is because I know what I’m waiting for. E.g. if I’m waiting for new version of UEStudio and no one will post single though I’ll miss it. These lists would help I think.

Why is everybody crying and whining? 0day apps have been around for years, every since the dominant days of Usenet. If you don’t like it don’t download. Some of you people are such crybabies.
