Been out for a week on tpb.The join 2 cd’s function works well with ac3 audio. Yet to try with vbr.The new menu editing is pretty simple too.

I cant get it to install as it asks for a serial number and there isnt anything in the NFO
Didn’t know where else to put this.
A popup on this site for something called “Podshow” keeps crashing out my Firefox, happens on both my Laptop and main PC. It seems to happen mainly under the TV section and is one of those that generally have skip this in the top corner.
Just thought i’d point this out incase others have had the same problem. Also thanks for the software, see still on topic.

You will have to uninstall and start again.When installing dont let it start. i.e. on the last screen untick the start box . then copy crack across then start.

That’s a wonderful little bit of malware from a company called AdBrite. Ok, it’s not technically malware since it doesn’t install anything on your system, but it’s just as intrusive and annoying. It’s a piece of javacsript code added to web pages that causes the full-page ad to appear after a set number of clicks on the site.
The easiest way to avoid it is to disable javascript when you come here (or any other site that uses it). There is also a Firefox extansion (I forget the name, it’s on the Extensions Mirror site) which will let you blacklist specific sites from running Javascript. Or you can get NoScript which does the opposite and requires you to whitelist sites you want to enable javascript on.

You can also just use the old serials from Convertxtodvd2 to activate this beta…. There are still a lot of bugs in version 3.
Sorry, not usually this stupid but what or where are the cracked files in the NFO? And do you copy them over into the C drive once its installed?

i dont know if anyone had this problem but using the old convertxtodvd when i converted to dvd there would be a zig zag effect around characters and objects making the quality rubbish but this new version is brilliant and does not do this. also the merger is great because i had a hard time finding a joiner without options that i didnt know how to use such as audio and video compression like you get on most of them. great release thanks rlslog

I have to disagree. While i’ve been using variations of this program for quite a while now, VSO (the makers of this app) are really starting to piss me off. There are so many options that we want, and ask for reglarly, that they simply refuse to include in the software because they dont think they’d use them, so why should we.
Head over to the creators website forums to see what i’m talking about. Pirate this software, VSO does not deserve your money.

If you go to the optiions menu you can “untick” the box with the option for “De-interlace” to check if this fixes your problem you can also do the preview render. that wil usually show you if it has the zig zagged lines from interlacing.
Generaly speaking It has somthing to do with ntsc & pal regions and the way they are encoded

you actually need a “3.0″ key for the newer versions of convertxtodvd.
I downloaded the official release from the website, and installed it over a keygenned release (version 2.0 I believe) and it said “the cd key you have installed is for 2.x, you need a valid 3.x key to activate”
therefore, you need a “3.x” key to “activate” it

Whats the difference between this version and there previous version(s). Is it worth downloading (again)?
All you need to do is get the release from VSO and apply the fixes from older version.. (TSRh / Embrace)
TE has convertxtodvd locked down… they must have someone inside VSO haha

Chances are, this version is a LOT newer than the version you have. The last release was v2.2.3.258h.
I need a little help. How do you use the crack? When i start the app it ask me if i want the “try” or “buy” it. Then when i open it using the crack icon it doesnt ask me that. Did i crack it or not?
how do i install this…..when i open the folder all i see is a bunch of zip files..when i open them with the winzip i don’t see the set up
I don’t know why people love this app so much. The only good thing about it is that it is very fast. Other than that it is nothing but crap. It almost always gives undersized ISOs and it only allows for one pass and the encoder produces mediocre quality at best. Why would anyone use this, when the are so many better options like CCE or TMPGenc, hell even nero-vision does a better job and nero-vision is also crap. Just my opinion

Hmm, so install ConvertXtoDVD3_setup.exe, then open Crack file and copy and paste dll file (”copy and replace” / yes)then copy cracked .exe and paste over top = trial version opens up and ask for registration code??

i have been screaming this program for like 2 weeks now…and finally you post it…btw i have been using it everything is good except when you add a background video to on of the templates…tthen choose use this audio(i am talking about the menu) the audio comes out off sync…and this is dissapointing, hopefully they fix this

First off peeps this program is not a piece of crap,, it is a VERY good program…..The crack is garbage but to overcome
that just use the serial from the previous version and it will open just fine…
I just tested this program and the new menu is a Great improvement from the previous version…..
It may not be as intuitive as Nero but it looks great when Learned.
Overalll I give it a A+ for ease of use and stability.
B- for Menu and that is up from a D on previous version.

I want to copy DVDs but what should I use to copy a DVD to a DVD?
I have been using DVD Decrypter and ISO Burner, then useing Nero Recode to do it. But with the way the new DVD are writen these have become alot for nothing.

I haven’t tried it myself (I don’t rent DVDs, so have nothing to try it on), but the most recent version of DVD Fab Platinum is said to copy the most recent protection used on DVDs like Rsh Hour 3.

Sorry I only use MPEG4! MPEG2 sucks! Thy to put 4 or more movies on a DVD with this app and you will see that the quality is awful!

@60 madstan Thanks for the link for joining 2 files together. The only other program that worked for me that joined 2 files and didn’t have any audio sync problems was avi video joiner 1.2 but I used up all the trial uses and can’t find a serial number for it.
After I extract the rar files I get the crack folder,but an error message appears “You need to have the following volume to continue extraction”. The set-up file appears,but then disappears after you hit o.k. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running Vista Home Premium.

Great program, but when I want to add a custom background I get the error ‘List Index out of Bounds (1)’. After that, the picture gets a size of 0 kb and cannot be opened again. Strange! Anyone knows how to fix this?

i sorted this problem alll i did was download convertxtodvd 3 from mininova the downloaded the real verson instaled that and the mininova i unziped the file nd the file thats the under crack extracted da den copy and pasted it to the program destination folder C:\Program Files\vso\ConvertX\3
alot of people are getting confused the crack is a replacement file NOT a keygen, please STOP emailing me for instructions use your common sense please, if you download from here and you get a message popup say that a volum is missing you have unpacked the rar file “HERE”(right clicked on it) dont do that create a new file then you wont overright the missing file. download from here http://vso-convertxtodvd.en.softonic.com/ Its the demo (but always stay true to this fantastic site)
